Our Priory Woods Cemetery is now open after extensive remodelling. The cemetery and unique gardens have been created to offer a place for visitors to take time to reflect and commemorate their loved ones in a beautiful and tranquil setting. There is a modern building onsite where you will find a reception, a memorial shop, and a friendly team to assist with your queries.
Peace garden
The peace garden is set within a tranquil natural setting offering a beautiful seating area around a water feature to sit and reflect, to be enjoyed by everyone in harmony with nature.
Memory garden
This area has been specifically designed as a special space. It offers various memorials, including a memorial tree and ornamental tree seating areas to create an open space which can be visited every day of the year.
Memorials
At Priory Woods Cemetery many types of memorials can be chosen to commemorate a loved one's life. Please speak with a bereavement officer to discuss your options. Those unsure of what to do with a loved one's cremated remains should consider the options available at the Priory Woods Cemetery. Options including memorial rose trees and vaults are very popular.
Woodland walk
Set in beautiful tranquil settings the interactive family trail takes you through the open landscape which allows you to explore the different areas of the cemetery. As children and their families walk through, they will encounter the -

The walk finishes at the memory garden with an opportunity to post your letter to a loved one in the dedicated post box.
